The Ocean Acoustics and Signals Lab in the WHOI AOPE Department is looking for a technically proficient and creative person to engage in our many-faceted research program. The person filling this position will engage in all aspects of research, including equipment and system design, at-sea data collection, data processing, rigorous theoretically based data analysis, and documentation and publication of results. A combination of educational background and job experience is sought, with no strictly defined requirements. Education & Experience Research Associate I or II Level Undergraduate degree in math, engineering or science Research Associate III Level Undergraduate and Master’s degree in math, engineering or science; or undergraduate degree and multiple years of experience. Research Specialist Level Undergraduate and Master’s degree in math, engineering or science; and 15 years of experience. *Position level will be based on the selected candidates' education and experience.
